EBEI Framework-Based Modeling Approach for Cyber Wargaming Systems

Based on a comprehensive review and synthesis of current modeling methodologies for cyber operations, this study focuses on the characteristics and constituent elements of cyber wargaming. We innovatively propose the EBEI (Entity-Behavior-Environment-Interaction) framework for cyber wargame modeling, accompanied by systematic approaches for modeling entities, behaviors, environments, and interaction mechanisms. To our knowledge, this study is the first to propose a comprehensive framework specifically tailored for cyber wargaming. The proposed methodology demonstrates tight coupling with cyber wargaming processes, providing critical model methods for the design of cyber wargaming systems. This study holds significant implications for advancing cyber operational modeling and enhancing the technical development of cyber wargaming simulations.
