Research Status and Development Trend of Educational Informatization Based on CiteSpace Visual Analysis

With the continuous development of the Internet, educational informatization has become a hot field in domestic academic research. This study utilized the CiteSpace visualization technology-enhanced mediation center algorithm to systematically analyze 3,266 papers on educational informatization in CNKI core journals from 2015 to 2025. The aim is to map out the current research pattern and predict the future development trend. Our research highlights an increasing number of publications, reflecting the significant academic interest and practical impact of educational informatization. This article further explores the relationship between these trends and the progress of educational informatization policies and practices. Although many scholars and educators are involved, the practical results show that the development trend of the national educational informatization level is relatively good, but there is still a considerable degree of imbalance among different regions. Finally, this paper proposes the research directions of future educational informatization, including taking the efficient allocation and innovative application of high-quality educational resources as the starting point, and breaking down resource barriers and activating resource efficiency through multi-dimensional strategies, etc.
