Cross-Chain Identity Authentication Mechanism Based on VRF Dynamic Selection and BLS Aggregate Signatures

To address the challenge of identity authentication between entities across different administrative domains, a Cross-blockchain Authenticating Mechanism based on Random Ferrying (CAMRF) was proposed in the present study. This mechanism integrates an enhanced multi-signature notary scheme, where a Ferryman Node Group is chosen through a shared random number to facilitate the forwarding, signing, and authentication of cross-domain messages. In this mechanism, the validity and authenticity of each cross-chain message are verified using BLS multi-signatures. This approach preserves the benefits of conventional notary mechanisms, such as ease of implementation and high interoperability, while addressing issues related to centralization and security. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results indicate that CAMRF markedly enhances interoperability and strengthens the security and reliability of cross-domain authentication, thereby providing significant practical value.
