Design of Space Station Science Popularization Platform based on virtual reality
In response to the issues of geographical limitations, high equipment costs, and insufficient interactivity in traditional aerospace science popularization, this paper designs and proposes a space station science popularization platform based on virtual reality (VR) technology. The platform utilizes Blender for 3D modeling and combines Unreal Engine 5 for interactive design, developing modules such as space roaming, docking simulation, and VR spacewalk. The system can provide a diverse and immersive popular science experience, effectively lowering the barrier to participation and promoting public scientific literacy.
