Results from the Police Anti-Bias Training Experiment

Officers who received an anti-bias training program had overall improved performance scores during interactions with community members, coded from BWC footage. Following the anti-bias training, officers had decreased numbers of discrimination-based community member complaints. This is the first study to suggest that anti-bias trainings may have a positive behavioural impact on police officers and community members perceptions of police.
