Robust Estimation of FDI Attacks in Cyber-Physical Systems: A Composite Hierarchical Approach
This brief paper investigates the estimation problem for false data injection (FDI) attacks in cyber-physical systems with disturbances. The case of both the controller-actuator (CA) network channel and sensor-controller (SC) network channel suffering from FDIs is considered, and the attack dynamics are equipped with unknown boundary. A novel composite hier-archical estimator with attack increments and disturbances being robustly attenuated is designed to estimate the time-varying SC-FDI attacks and CA-FDI attacks synchronously. The designed estimator strategy only depends on the received compromised/uncompromised measurement information on account of whole state information cannot be measured directly. Finally, the simulation and experiment are compared with existing results to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
