Discrete-Time Optimal Disturbance Rejection Control for Buck Converter
Disturbance rejection is crucial for maintaining high-performance operation of the Buck converter. Under practical operating conditions, the Buck converter is subjected to both matched and mismatched disturbances, which can significantly degrade the dynamic performance and potentially compromise its stability. To address this, an optimal disturbance rejection control (ODRC) algorithm is proposed, integrating a hybrid extended state observer (HyESO) for real-time state and disturbance estimation with an optimal control-based strategy for disturbance compensation. Compared to conventional methods, ODRC enhances dynamic response, mitigates the impact of disturbances on voltage regulation, and improves transient performance. Simulation results confirm its superiority in disturbance suppression and robustness enhancement.
