Predictive Observer-Compensated High-Order Fully Actuated Tracking Control for Linear Switched Reluctance Machine
The linear switched reluctance machine (LSRM) has gained prominence in precision motion control owing to its structural simplicity, reliability, and cost-efficiency. To enhance tracking performance, this paper introduces a predictive observercompensated strategy for high-order fully actuated (HOFA) control of the LSRM. A HOFA system is formulated by discretizing the dynamic model of the LSRM. Moreover, a predictive HOFA observer is designed to estimate the unmeasurable position state of the LSRM. Through solving the generalized Sylvester equation, parameterized expressions for closed-loop eigenvectors and position feedback matrices are derived. This approach enables the transformation of the closed-loop LSRM system into a constant high-order linear system with prescribed eigenstructure. The capability and advantage of the predictive HOFA observer method are illustrated through simulations involving three LSRMs with different initial positions.
