Interference Coordination with Full-duplex Mode in Ultra-dense V2I Networks
To address the need for higher transmission speeds and the movement towards more densely situated roadside infrastructure, the idea of ultra-dense networks (UDNs) has been proposed to enhance the throughput performance of 5G vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) networks. In this paper, we analyze the importance of UDN performance enhancement, and describe the research status and development trend of this technology. Additionally, in the control/user plane split (CUPS) network architecture, intra-layer and inter-layer interference have become a non-negligible problem. Aiming at this problem, this work addresses the system throughput optimization problem by considering both in-band full-duplex (IBFD) and out-of-band full-duplex (OBFD) modes of small base stations (SBSs), employing poisson point process (PPP) modeling for spatial distribution, and obtaining the global optimal solution through a modified particle swarm optimization (MPSO) algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can effectively suppress interference and improve system throughput.
