Improved Terminal Sliding Mode Control With Voltage-Current Dual-Loop Regulation on Dual Active Bridge Converter
This paper addresses the poor dynamic performance of dual active bridge (DAB) converters under system disturbances and proposes an improved terminal sliding mode control scheme with finite-time convergence. On one hand, the proposed scheme integrates terminal sliding mode control theory with an extended phase-shift (EPS) modulation strategy based on the averaged DAB dynamic equations, enhancing both steady-state and transient performance. On the other hand, a PI-based voltage-current dual-closed-loop ensures robust output voltage regulation and fast dynamic response. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller under varying input and load conditions.
