Distributed Optical Frequency Domain Measurement System Based on Common Single-Mode Optical Fiber
In the distributed optical fiber sensing technology, optical frequence-domain reflectometry (OFDR) has the characteristics of high spatial resolution and high sensitivity, and has great advantages in the measurement of physical quantities such as strain and temperature. A set of OFDR distributed sensing system is built based on common single-mode fiber, and the data acquisition and processing are realized by visual programming platform. Finally, the strain or temperature measurement results of any point in common single-mode fiber can be displayed in real time. The experimental results show that the distributed sensing system has the spatial resolution of 0.017mm, the strain measurement accuracy of 1 μ ε, the strain measurement capability of 105Hz vibration signal, and the real-time monitoring capability of distributed dynamic strain. The developed distributed optical fiber strain sensing system will have broad application prospects in the field of high spatial resolution and high vibration frequency measurement requirements.
