State Estimation with Location Privacy Protection
In this paper, a state estimation with location privacy protection (LPP) is proposed reduce the exposure of customers' location privacy. The privacy mechanism consists of two parts: The first one is a random response mechanism to the estimator's location request; the second one is a location deviation information which is able to prevent the disclosure of the precise location. This approach provides a lightweight solution for location-sensitive applications where both estimation performance and customers' location privacy. Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed LPP method.
