Optimal Control for Networked Systems with Multiple Delays and Packet Losses
This paper primarily investigates the control problem in networked control systems(NCSs) subject to multiple delays and packet losses. The packet transmission between the sensor and controller is carried out over a shared communication network, where real-time traffic network parameters influence both transmission channel delays and packet losses. Additionally, input delays between the controller and actuator are inevitable. To address these issues, we first introduce the packet losses and delays caused by traffic in the sensor-to-controller transmission channel. Then, we design the optimal feedback controller to handle the multiple delays and packet losses, where the feedback gain satisfies the standard discrete Riccati equation. Finally, the specific practical case is considered to analyze the results of the study.
