Event-Triggered Synchronization Control for Complex Semiconductor Laser Network with Bit-Rate Constraint
This study investigates the synchronization control for complex semiconductor laser network (CSLN) using an adaptive event-triggered strategy under bit-rate constraints. Firstly, a rate equation model of the semiconductor laser is established as a single node of the complex network. A synchronization error system model is constructed for a directed CSLN with a drive network system and a response network system. Secondly, considering the wireless communication between the drive system and the response system, to save communication resources, an adaptive event-triggered mechanism is introduced. An encoding-decoding mechanism employs uniform quantization and sign functions to transform discrete signals into binary codewords for wireless transmission. Based on the decoded signals, a state feedback controller is designed, and a closed-loop synchronization error system is constructed. Subsequently, by using Lyapunov stability theory and improved Jensen's inequality, sufficient conditions for ultimately exponentially bounded synchronization of the CSLN are derived. These conditions jointly determine the controller and triggering parameters. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is validated through a simulation.
