Hybrid Dynamic Event- Triggered State Observer for Nonlinear Systems Satisfying Incremental Quadratic Constraints

This paper considers the design problem of state observer for nonlinear systems satisfying incremental quadratic constraints, which is determined by an incremental multiplier matrix. In order to enhance the efficient utilization of system resources, we introduce a hybrid dynamic event-triggering mechanism to alleviate transmission burden of network. This mechanism ensures that there is a minimum time interval between successive triggering moments, which facilitates engineering realization. By integrating the hybrid dynamic event-triggering mechanism with the observer, we formulate the hybrid dynamic event-triggered observer for nonlinear systems. Then, the observer design problem is subsequently reformulated as a linear matrix inequality to determine the observer gain matrix. Finally, the proposed approach is demonstrated through a simulation example.
