Robust Dual-Loop Cascade Predictive Tolerant Control for NPMSM Drives With Multiparameter Mismatch Fault Diagnosis
In this study, a cascade tolerant control strategy with modular multiparameter fault diagnosis (CTC-MFD) strategy was proposed to improve the performance of N-segment three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors (NPMSM) under multiparameter faults. The CTC-MFD strategy mainly comprised parameter online fault diagnosis and dual-loop predictive tolerant controller. First, the drive topology of N parallel inverters with independent dc sources was designed to satisfy the strong fault tolerance of NPMSM. Then, an improved neural network multiparameter identification strategy was proposed for the online monitoring of electromagnetic parameters and unknown load torque disturbance fault. Moreover, a robust dual-loop cascade predictive tolerant controller for NPMSM was designed. The CTC-MFD results showed that this strategy could considerably improve the speed and current prediction accuracy and suppress current tracking errors as well as high-power impact load disturbances.
