Field-circuit Coupling Performance Optimization of PMSM Drive System Based on Reduced Order Model of Motor
In order to satisfy the performance requirements of PMSM drive system widely used in practice, the performances of the executive motor body and the drive system has been optimized in this paper. Firstly, the PMSM model has been established and the cogging torque of the motor has been optimized based on RMxprt platform, and the equivalent circuit extraction (ECE) model of motor has been obtained in the Maxwell platform. In this basis, the simulation model of the drive system adopting the Vector control strategy with voltage feedforward has been established based on the multi-physical field coupling platform. The comparison of the running time and the operating characteristics of the system before and after reducing the order of the motor model prove that that the ECE technology can be used to make the system operating calculation more efficient under the same high simulation precision. The analysis of the operating characteristics of the system under different operating conditions proves that the optimized multi-physical field coupling drive system has good starting ability, stability, anti-disturbance ability and torque ripple suppression effect. So the method of modelling and optimization is feasible in this paper.
