Adaptive Weight Predictive Position Synchronization Control for Dual-motor System Based on Dynamic Coupling Gain

To enhance the dynamic performance and synchronization control precision of dual permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) system, this paper proposes an adaptive weight predictive position synchronization control for dual-motor system based on dynamic coupling gain. First, the incremental continuous control set model predictive control (CCS-MPC) is employed to perform multi-step prediction for both position and rotational speed. The control increment is derived by calculating the partial derivatives of the established cost function, which incorporates both synchronization error and tracking error. Subsequently, the error dynamics are decomposed using Taylor expansion, and a dynamic coupling gain is introduced to quantify the coupling strength. The weight coefficients are updated in real-time through weight gradient calculation, stability verification, and weight amplitude limiting, ultimately yielding the drive currents for the two motors. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm effectively improves the dynamic performance and synchronous control accuracy of the system.
