Predictive Synchronous Control of Dual Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Stability Analysis

To address the issue of position and speed synchronization in the cooperative drive system of multiple permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), a predictive synchronization control strategy for dual PMSMs based on stability analysis is proposed in this paper, and the synchronization error, tracking errors and control function are modeled as a multi-objective control problem. The value function including synchronization error, tracking errors, and control action is designed by constructing the dynamic coupling state space model of the dual-motor system. The optimal solution after multi-step prediction is obtained through time domain optimization. At the same time, the stability and robustness of the algorithm are proved by Lyapunov theory. The final boundedness conclusion shows that, when a bounded disturbance is encountered, the designed predictive synchronization controller can guarantee convergence of the tracking errors and synchronization error to a neighborhood proportional to the disturbance amplitude. Simultaneously, it has been demonstrated by the simulation results that the proposed method can synchronize the error while ensuring the tracking performance of a single motor. The research results theoretically guarantee the stability and robustness of high-precision multi-motor collaborative control in practical engineering applications.
