Distributed calibration and imaging with Yandasoft
Yandasoft is a collection of high performance interferometric radio astronomy libraries and applications developed to meet the challenges of ASKAP, the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder. The libraries contain calibration and imaging algorithms designed with a range of distribution options for high-performance computing clusters, which are used by the applications to perform the critical tasks required for near-real-time, wide-field, wide-band synthesis imaging. While designed for ASKAP, Yandasoft is more widely applicable as a general purpose package capable of flexible distribution on very large scales.
