Transient Electromagnetic and Thermal Interaction Analysis in Nano-Metallic Structures
Rapid Internet of Things growth has led to an exponential increase in digital data, driving the need for higher storage density and performance.Heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) is a promising solution that employs localized laser heating to temporarily reduce the coercivity of recording medium, thereby enabling magnetization reversal and high-density storage [1-2].Acting as a plasmonic nanoscale antenna, the near-field transducer (NFT) is a key component of the HAMR system. It concentrates laser energy to locally amplify electromagnetic fields and induce heat generation in targeted regions.Consequently, numerical simulations are crucial for elucidating electromagnetic and thermal behaviors within the NFT.
