Analysis of Electromagnetic wave propagation in High-Speed Train Using Non-Uniform FDTD
With the increasing operational speeds of high-speed trains and the growing integration of onboard electronic systems, the electromagnetic environment both inside and outside the train has become increasingly complex. This study utilizes the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method with non-uniform grid technique to analyze the electromagnetic wave propagation in a high-speed train. The presented approach effectively reduces computational costs while ensuring high accuracy.A simplified highspeed train model is simulated, and the results are validated against commercial software. The electric field distributions inside and outside the train show good accuracy.Additionally, the study discusses the effects of additional mesh refinement in critical regions.
