Numerical results in a convolution approach in scattering theory: the 1D case.

The analysis of the 1D inverse scattering problem can provide important information for the most general geometries. Here we start this investigation by considering the internal forward scattering operator for a constant dielectric profile.A spectral approach is adopted to analyze this operator. The possibility to evaluate analytically the pertinent functions allows to discuss its main.

Abstract

The analysis of the 1D inverse scattering problem can provide important information for the most general geometries. Here we start this investigation by considering the internal forward scattering operator for a constant dielectric profile.A spectral approach is adopted to analyze this operator. The possibility to evaluate analytically the pertinent functions allows to discuss its main.
