Afterword: Why Climate Needs Religion
Recently, a massive storm descended upon the city where I live. People died, the wind moaned, and electricity was knocked out for days. Powerlines were downed and intersections snarled with fallen trees and debris. The earth refused to bear any more water, which had come in an abundance that few had predicted. Like many households in the storm struck region, a friend of mine found himself and his family without running water for several days; the streets were flooded but the taps ran dry.
