Structural Reforms S աnd Structural Changes. Comparative Analysis
Structural reforms are an integral part of the life of society, but the term "Structural reforms" is relatively new and has become a widely discussed subject in scientific and professional circles, especially since the second half of the 20th century. The development of economic history has been accompanied by numerous crises, each of which has left its indelible mark on the economic policies pursued by states and prompted them to reconsider their approaches to economic, social, political, and other processes. Another of the lessons learned from the crises was the appreciation of structural reforms' role in increasing social well-being, alleviating social inequalities, and solving the problems of the fiscal and monetary sectors closely related to them. The imperative of economic development itself testifies that in the current world, resource-based economies alone cannot ensure economic, social, and political targets, therefore, structural reforms came to fill this gap and create space for maneuvering in the problems emerging during the development of society through the use of various policy measures.
