High-Spin Emission and Giant Magnetoluminescence from a Luminescent Organic Triradical
Organic triradicals represent a distinctive subclass of high-spin open-shell molecules with significant potential in organic magnets, spintronics, and quantum information technologies. However, the integration of luminescent properties with high-spin states-and the realization of spin-dependent optical modulation-remains largely unexplored. Here, we present a luminescent organic triradical, Cz-3TTM, that exhibits efficient quartet-state emission at the single-molecule level, enabling spin-optical modulation. As a result, Cz-3TTM shows giant magnetoluminescence (ML > 600%) at 2 K under 7 T and strong thermally activated emission, with an intensity enhancement exceeding 3300% across the 2~120 K range. Moreover, it features relatively long
