Plasma-assisted controllable synthesis of carbon materials supported β-Co(OH)2 in solution
Supported β-Co(OH)<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> was prepared in solution by using an atmospheric pressure surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) cold plasma using a mixture of NH<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</inf> and Ar as the working gas, without adding any other chemical reagents. The SDBD plasma reactor is simple, and expected to achieve large-scale scale-up treatment by flowing the liquid materials. Various supports are investigated, and it has been found that carbon materials are beneficial to β-Co(OH)<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> formation. It only needs to mix the carbon material support with Co(NO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</inf>)<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> solution, add a small amount of deionized water, and treat it with SDBD cold plasma, so that the carbon material supported β-Co(OH)<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> can be obtained in a short time. The preparation process has the advantages of green, fast, flexible and safe, and the product will not introduce other impurities.
