Research on wide input DC-DC Converter based on partial power regulation
With the increasing demand of new energy electric vehicles for a wide range of voltage inputs, traditional DC/DC converters are difficult to meet application requirements due to high stress and limited efficiency of power devices. In this paper, a DC-DC converter topology based on partial power regulation is proposed to meet the need of efficient power conversion in wide input voltage scenarios. By analyzing the operation mechanism of partial power regulation, a hybrid structure of LLC resonant converter and active clamp forward converter module working together is designed. The active regulation of partial power paths is used to achieve wide range voltage matching of the main power path, so as to ensure that the LLC resonant converter can always be at the resonant operating point. Finally, the proposed topology model is built on the PLECS simulation platform to verify its rationality.
