Event-Based Adaptive Prescribed-Time Control for a Class of Nonlinear Uncertain Systems
In this paper we study the event-triggered prescribed-time control problem for a class of nonlinear systems. Different from the existing results, the considered system includes parametric uncertainty and dynamic uncertainty. The notions of input-to-state stability (ISS) and ISS-Lyapunov function are used to characterize the dynamic uncertainty. Thanks to the recursive control design, we present an adaptive prescribed-time control methodology via an event-triggered mechanism. It is shown that the presented control scheme ensures that the system states and control law reach the origin within the prescribed-time instant, and excludes the Zeno behavior. The proposed control scheme is illustrated by means of the set-point tracking control of a pendulum system in prescribed-time.
