Research on Model Conversion from SysML v1 to SysML v2
Amid the wave of digital transformation, the SysML V2 language, with its formal semantics and standardized API, has emerged as an important research direction in model-based systems engineering (MBSE). However, the automated conversion from SysML V1 to V2 remains a challenging issue in the industry. This paper proposes an automated conversion method based on XMI (XML Metadata Interchange), designing and implementing a conversion process that includes an XMI parsing module, a mapping rules engine, and a target model generation module. By precisely mapping the elements of SysML V1 and V2, and combining a multi-pass traversal algorithm, the automated conversion of use case diagrams and activity diagrams is achieved. Experimental results show that the proposed conversion method can successfully transform V1 models into V2 models while preserving the integrity and semantic consistency of the models.
