Research on Phase Current Reconstruction Method of Five-Phase Motor Based on Improved Complementary Vector Control
Five-Phase fault-tolerant motors feature high power density and excellent fault-tolerant performance. However, compared with three-phase motors, their control systems require more current sensors for current sampling. The increase in the number of sensors makes it more likely to introduce uncertain disturbances. Therefore, it becomes extremely important to provide redundant backup for the motor current sampling information. This paper proposes a five-phase motor phase current reconstruction method based on DC bus sampling. This method samples the DC bus current under different switching modes of space vector pulse width modulation and reconstructs the five-phase current through calculation. However, in the low modulation ratio region and sector boundaries, this method has problems of low current reconstruction accuracy. Therefore, based on the DC bus sampling method, this paper improves the current reconstruction dead zone solution method based on complementary vectors and performs a simulation analysis of the improved method.
