Pack Your Lunch : A Metaverse Game to Help Youngsters Make Informed Nutrition Choices
Youngsters can be picky eaters, and parents who pack their school lunches are well aware of that. Pediatricians sometimes recommend involving children in meal planning as a way to overcome picky eating, develop healthy eating habits and get exposed to new types of food. This demo shows a Metaverse game that allows children to explore the options to choose their school lunch while making them aware of nutritional information. Nutritional parameters such as calories, amount of fat, carbs, and protein are added when choosing various foods. When a nutritional target is exceeded, for example, in terms of calories, an activity is suggested to compensate for the excess amount.
