Hybrid distribution transformer system for power quality optimization in photovoltaic power generation station area
In response to the power quality issues in photovoltaic power plants, such as voltage deviation, harmonics, and power system frequency deviation, this paper first proposes a three-phase HDT system consisting of traditional transformers and direct AC/AC converters. The system is then analyzed using a relaxed two-port network theory model. Subsequently, simulation tests of the proposed three-phase HDT system are conducted, verifying its ability to provide effective voltage amplitude and phase compensation, as well as harmonic compensation. The results demonstrate that the three-phase HDT system can improve the power quality issues in photovoltaic power plants.
