A VSG Control Based on Adaptive Frequency Feedforward to Enhance Transient Stability of Wind Power Grid-Connected System
A virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control strategy based on adaptive frequency feedforward is proposed to improve the transient stability of the wind power grid-connected system. The control strategy realizes the dynamic compensation of reactive power in transient process by feedforward the frequency deviation in the active control loop to the reactive control loop. And the adaptive control is additionally introduced to weaken effect of the improvement on the steady state operation of the system. The synchronization stability of the power angle during the fault is verified by the phase trajectory method and the equal area criterion (EAC). Simulation analysis further verifies the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
