Development of Smart Sustainable Agriculture with Multiple Control & Monitoring Systems
This paper presents the development of a multiple control system for a smart agriculture farm that integrates automation and IoT-based monitoring to optimize irrigation and fertigation processes. The system replaces Arduino ATmega 2560 with ESP32 microcontrollers, improving efficiency and performance. The system design includes dosing pumps, solenoid valves, water flow sensors, real time clock (RTC) modules, and capacitive soil moisture sensors. The control of these multiple control systems is operated through mobile apps that are connected via Bluetooth between a smart device and the system controllers. Data is collected and analyzed through IoT platform and saved in an offline spreadsheet file, ensuring real-time monitoring. Results indicate improved irrigation efficiency, stable soil moisture levels, and precise fertigation control. Future work includes scaling to additional plots and integrating AI-driven analytics for enhanced decision-making.
