Amplification of Photochemical Chiroptical Activity of Chiral Gold Nanocubes (Small 36/2025)
Chiral Plasmonic Nanostructures Chiral gold nanocubes (AuNCs) enable polarization-dependent plasmonic catalysis, featuring remarkably strong photochemical circular dichroism. Circularly polarized light drives hot-electron-mediated reactions with asymmetric rates, monitored operando via SERS, with g-factors surpassing optical limits. Multilayer assemblies exhibit reversible and tunable chiroptical responses. In article number 2505093, Ilko Bald and co-workers present a nanostructure-engineering approach to enhance chiral-selective photochemistry through light polarization control.
