This study is to examine the impacts of the ambidextrous leadership on exploitation activities and exploration activities of hotel employees and the moderating role of leader trust between ambidextrous leadership and employees’ exploitation activities and exploration activities. Literature study and empirical analysis using SPSS 29.0 were performed. Critical review of previous studies reveals that ambidextrous leadership measured by opening leadership*closing leadership has positive impact on both of exploitation activities and exploration activities and leader trust may moderate the relationship of ambidextrous leadership and employees’ activities. The results of empirical study using 371 samples of hotel employees are as follows. Firstly, ambidextrous leadership has positive impact on both of exploitation activities and exploration activities. Separately opening leadership and closing leadership shows positive impacts on exploration activities but opening leadership does not show significant impact on exploitation activities. Secondly, leader trust does not show moderating role between ambidextrous leadership and employees’ activities.
