Tight Oil Type II Reservoir in Block M of the Northern Songliao BasinEffective use of technology
Abstract The M block is located in the northern part of the Songliao Basin, with the development target layer being the F oil layer. It was submitted for proven reserves in 2018. The average porosity of the reservoir is 10.5%, the median permeability is 0.34mD, and the proportion of Class II reservoirs is 91.5%. The production of oil testing in vertical wells is less than 1 ton, making it difficult to develop benefits. Deploy 11 horizontal wells in 2022, prioritize pilot testing, and explore production improvement processes and development methods. A detailed three-dimensional geological model has been established in the entire region, with precise geological guidance from multiple specialties. The completion rate of drilling horizontal wells and oil reservoirs has reached 94.3%. The overall application of guar gum fracturing fluid adopts dense cutting and temporary blocking fracturing technology within the section. After pressure control and stable production, the average daily oil production of 11 horizontal wells exceeded 10 tons in the first year. The predicted EUR for a single well can be increased from 13000 tons in the design plan to 16000 tons, and the financial internal rate of return can be increased from 6.3% to 9.2%. Significant breakthroughs have been made in the pilot test, resulting in significant improvements in production and efficiency. Through further understanding of the characteristics of the reservoir in the entire area, 11 sweet spots were selected, and 49 horizontal wells were designed with block encryption. The overall three-dimensional development was utilized to achieve large-scale production, opening the door to the efficient production of horizontal wells in the tight oil II reservoir of A oilfield.
