Optical grating in a three-level assisted optomechanical system

Abstract The phenomena of electromagnetically induced gratings are theoretically discussed in a hybrid cavity system consisting of a three-level atomic scheme, a mechanical resonator, and an optical cavity. A driving light with a two-dimensional standing wave pattern interacts with a three-level medium. We discovered that the input–output cavity field can be altered on a regular basis, which leads to modification of the weak probe light’s Fraunhofer diffraction pattern at the resonance frequency. Thus, by parametric modulation of the system such as the driving light’s intensity and cavity parameters, we may regulate the energy of the probe field in different orders of the grating. Our simulations may offer a versatile method for regulating atomic gratings in hybrid optomechanical systems.
