Study on optimization design of injection pressurization process for shale gas platform

Abstract Most shale gas platforms in southern Sichuan have been developed to the middle and late stages, and the pressure is not balanced. Low-pressure wells cannot enter the gathering and transportation system, while high-pressure wells need to throttle and depressurize, resulting in energy loss. Natural gas injection pressurization technology is capable of leveraging a high-pressure gas source to facilitate the production of low-pressure gas wells and the export of the gas from these wells, and has a good application prospect in shale gas production platform. By means of the computational fluid dynamics approach, a numerical model of the gas-liquid flow within the ejector pressurization device has been formulated, and the variation law of the ejector coefficient with the working condition parameters and structural parameters is simulated and analyzed. The optimally determined structural parameters for the ejector pressurization process on the X1 platform in southern Sichuan are obtained and the chart is drawn to form the injection pressurization technology scheme, which lays a foundation for the popularization and application of the process. The outcomes of the study indicate that the diameter of the mixing tube measures 14.6 millimeters, the throat distance amounts to 17.7 millimeters, the length of the mixing tube is 96.7 millimeters, and the diffusion angle is 5 degrees., and the ejecting coefficient is 52.3 %. The corresponding ejecting gas volume is the best, which is 114,000 square / day.
