Aerodynamic Design of Downhole Gas Compression
Abstract Drainage gas production is a new drainage gas production method using downhole gas compression. It can reduce the bottom hole pressure to increase the production pressure difference, increase the production of gas well, and then achieve the goal of improving the production effect. In order to obtain the structural parameters and performance parameters of downhole gas compression, it is necessary to carry out aerodynamic design of downhole gas compression. Firstly, the change of thermodynamic process of compressor working medium is analyzed, and the hindrance of aerodynamic design caused by the change of physical properties of working medium is analyzed. Secondly, the efficiency and power of compressors of different stages are obtained by simulation calculation, and the stages of compressors are determined. Then, the pneumatic design of the compressor is carried out according to the design condition, and the main structural parameters of the shaft flow gas compressor are obtained. The simulation results show that the technology of downhole axial flow compressor is 6 stages, and the main structural parameters are as follows in φ114.3mm casings : the outer diameter is 42mm, the inner diameter of the inlet is 24mm, the inner diameter of the outlet is 27mm, the blade string length of each stage is 13mm, and the installation angle is about 45°. The design can provide a theoretical basis for the structural design of downhole gas compression.
