Study and Application of Water Ridge Evolution Law of in Continental Reservoirs with Strong Bottom Water
Abstract CFD bottom water reservoir in Bohai Sea is characterized by low structural amplitude, low oil column height and high formation oil viscosity, etc. It has a development history of more than ten years up to now, and it has got into the middle and late development stage, showing both low oil output and low development benefits and need to carry out targeted infill adjustment according to the evolution law of horizontal well water ridge to improve its development. Firstly, based the actual situation of the oilfield and horizontal well mining characteristics, the 3D physical experiment of bottom water ridge is carried out, which reveals that the horizontal well water ridge presents the characteristics of “first ascending ridge, then expanding to both sides”. Then the reservoir simulation study clarifies the zoning law in the horizontal well ridge cavity. Finally, the integrated infilling adjustment model of horizontal Wells is proposed to guide the potential tapping and realize rapid and continuous production, which can provide good practical experience in increasing reserves and production.
