Drilling and Completion Technology of the Second-spud Slim Wellbore Structure in Yingtai Deep Tight Gas Reservoirs

Abstract Deep tight gas due to dense reservoirs, low production, using conventional drilling technology is difficult to achieve beneficial development. This paper takes Yingtai deep tight gas as an example, introduces the deep tight gas geological characteristics and drilling difficulties, in order to meet the needs of deep tight gas beneficial development and cost reduction, optimize the development of 4500 m second-spud slim wellbore structure technology program, through the attack on the deep natural gas wells with long bare second-spud borehole well control, well wall stabilization, 168.3mm small borehole PDC bit speed up and long cementing section narrow gap cementing four technologies, for the first time in China, successfully completed seven wells 4500m second-spud slim wellbore drilling test, drilling speed up and cost reduction effect are remarkable, compared with the conventional third-spud well structure cycle and cost reduction of more than 40%, to meet the needs of the efficiency of the development of deep tight gas reservoirs to reduce costs, it has certain reference significance and practical value for the beneficial development of deep tight gas reservoirs in China, and the prospect of popularization and application is very broad.
