Description and Application of Building Structures within the Sand Body Layer of Shallow Water Delta Front Facies
Abstract The reservoir heterogeneity of Block A oil layer B is strong, and it is currently in the high water cut stage of development. Water injection development is facing problems such as ineffective circulation and severe situation of tapping and increasing production. In order to further improve the development effect and tap the remaining potential of the secondary oil layer, it is urgent to carry out a description of the building structure inside the sand body layer to guide water injection development. This article is based on the rock electric analysis of core wells to divide reservoir configuration interfaces and identify 6-4 level configuration interfaces. Among them, the interlayer types of the 4th level interface are mainly mud interlayers and physical interlayers, with occasional calcareous interlayers. Based on the study of core well configuration, a single period is comprehensively divided vertically based on well logging curves and sand body development scale. A semi quantitative determination of single genesis sand body boundaries is made using seismic, well logging, and development dynamic data in the plane. The contact relationship and type between sand bodies within the layer are analyzed, and the internal connectivity of sand bodies is clarified. The distribution of intra layer structures is accurately described, providing geological basis for the formulation of precise water injection development measures for Block A and B oil reservoirs.
