Study on Optimization Scheme for Boosting Process of M Gas Field

Abstract The process of primary centralized supercharging is unable to fulfill the requirements of the M gas field due to its continuous development. The gas field is faced with overload operation of compressor and high wellhead pressure. Therefore, it is urgent to optimize the boosting process. The pipe network model is established by using Pipephase software. The key hydraulic parameters of the pipe network are analyzed. The changes of the production scale of each area under different inlet pressure are studied. Based on the analysis results of hydraulic parameters, from the two angles of “regional boosting+single station boosting” and “regional boosting+single station boosting+single well boosting of high yield well”, and considering the location of single station boosting, four optimization schemes are proposed. The four schemes are compared and optimized from the perspective of technical economy. The final scheme can not only meet the requirements of pipeline network export, but also ensure the economic benefits. The analysis method of gas field pressurization scheme proposed in this study has certain reference significance for the optimization design of similar gas field pressurization scheme and realization of production increase and efficiency increase.
