Experimental study on effective utilization of low abundance Putaohua thin and poor reservoir
Abstract In response to the problem that the proven unused reserves in the Putaohua oil reservoir of a certain oilfield are all low-permeability, low abundance, thin and poor reservoirs, and conventional technologies are difficult to economically and effectively utilize them, personalized completion methods for different types of reservoirs are carried out: for wells with poor reservoir quality at the edge of river sand bodies and new wells mainly developed by sheet sand, conventional perforation and small-scale fracture network fracturing methods are used for completion; For new wells that encounter sand bodies in river channels and are not fractured for production, composite perforation completion is adopted; Conduct advanced water injection tests to address the issues of low formation energy and poor production efficiency. By conducting comprehensive improvement experiments during production, we aim to achieve efficient development and provide reference for the effective utilization of this type of reservoir in the future.
