Analysis of Fluid Distribution Characteristics of Sa Ling Formation in the Southern Block of GSG Oilfield
Abstract The Sa Ling Formation oil reservoir is the topmost oil reservoir in Daqing Oilfield. As evidenced by the results of 12 test oil wells in the Southern Block of GSG Oilfield, it can be seen that the pure oil layer, same layer, pure water layer, and dry layer are all displayed, and the fluid distribution is complex. In order to effectively develop the Sa Ling Formation, it needs to understand the characteristics of fluid distribution. Firstly, using data from well logging, oil testing, well logging, and coring, a fluid identification chart is created. The chart is validated using new oil testing wells, and the recognition accuracy of the chart is high; Then, by finely identifying the oil layers, gas layers, same layers, and dry layers of over 10000 passing wells through the chart, the distribution pattern of oil and water in each passing well for oil layers, gas layers, water layers, and dry layers are clarified; Secondly, draw horizontal and vertical reservoir profiles throughout the area, analyze and summarize the vertical distribution patterns of fluids in different layers and blocks; Finally, based on the characteristics of structure and sand body development, the fluid plane distribution patterns of each sub layer were summarized, and the overall oil and gas distribution was controlled by the structure. The high parts of the structural axis were mainly dominated by oil and gas distribution, and the degree of oil and gas plane enrichment was constrained by lithology. The research results are of great help for the adjustment of measures and deployment of plans for the Sa Ling formation.
