Viscosity-temperature Features and Viscosity Plate of Live Waxy Crude Oil
Abstract The viscosity temperature curve of gas and wax containing crude oil was measured using a high-pressure capillary viscometer, and characteristics viscosity temperature curve were analyzed in detail. Research has found that crude oil containing gas and wax is a non Newtonian fluid under low temperature conditions, exhibiting significant shear thinning characteristics. Traditional indoor experiments usually only measure viscosity within a limited temperature range and shear rate conditions, which makes it difficult for the obtained data to fully reflect the rheological properties of gas and wax containing crude oil in actual working conditions. In response to this issue, a method has been proposed to obtain a wax containing crude oil viscosity temperature chart with a wide temperature change and shear rate change using experimental, providing a method for the effective application of gas containing wax containing crude oil viscosity temperature curves.
