Computationally Efficient Grouped-Slice Model for Simulating Second Harmonic Generation From Multilayer 2H-MoS2 Disk Resonators
We report a computationally efficient approach to simulate second-harmonic generation from multilayer <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{2 H}-\text{MoS}_{2}$</tex> disk resonators using a grouped-slice model. Very good agreement is observed with experimental measurements, with a significant speed-up in computational time by <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\sim 100$</tex>-times in comparison to modelling individual monolayers within the structure.
