Programming Multiphoton Correlations in Lossy Optical Networks

We investigate multiphoton correlations in lossy multimode optical networks realized in a rectilinear core multimode fiber with over 1000 modes. Through a combination of theoretical and experimental studies, we investigate programmable multiphoton correlations enabled by losses in the network.

Abstract

We investigate multiphoton correlations in lossy multimode optical networks realized in a rectilinear core multimode fiber with over 1000 modes. Through a combination of theoretical and experimental studies, we investigate programmable multiphoton correlations enabled by losses in the network.
